Something that really demonstrates the unyielding stranglehold #theists have on human civilization is the #fact that they can murder, pillage and oppress in the name of their #gods unceasingly for hundreds or thousands of years, defend and justify every wrongdoing by their members, and creep their way into legislation and show zero sign of ceasing this behavior any time soon, then call #atheists greasy, edgelord losers because some of them are a little smug.

There is no real religious claim being made here. Only a moral one. And (if I'm reading it correctly) it casts aspersion on non-believers without any justification. #Atheists #Theists #Christians are equivalent in the argument... people either act/think with others in mind, or they don't. Religion doesn't come into it.

This sentence makes me think of #Existentialism (which again is not a religious doctrine)...

If you are interested in existentialism I suggest reading the novels by #AlbertCamus!

1. More #guns will decrease crime: can we put together a team to research that claim in states with the most guns? No. Why not? Because? Sounds like bullshit, then.
2. #Theists are more trustworthy: do you have proof of that? Oh, it's the same proof as the existence of #god? So, no, then?
3. #Abortion is #murder: It's an individual choice. Can we make refusing a vaccine for the good of EVERYONE an automatic charge of attempted murder? No? Then, no.
