Watched #TBOSAS (the new #HungerGames movie) and here are my spoiler-free thoughts:
- It was actually a good movie. Way better than I expected based on book reviews. It made a concise point that was well done and much needed.
- Every line written for Flickerman was pure gold. It made him way more disturbing than any of the villains.
- Hunter Schafer is stellar
- The music was pretty good, and Rachel Zegler delivered it

The “music inspired by” albums that accompany several of The Hunger Games films are superb. These are different from the soundtrack albums. Although some of the songs are in the films.
The latest one for Songbirds and Snakes continues the tradition.

I enjoyed The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. But I’m on record as saying that The Hunger Games films are my favourite Sci-Fi film franchise. This is a worthy addition to the canon.
More thought later after I stuff my face with fish and chips.
