Talking about things that are easier to read for me, though:
I've heard that both, the Netflix "Nimona" movie as well as the graphic novel / comic it's based on is supposed to be good, so, I'll give the graphic novel a try and aquire the movie afterwards. As the latter is a Netflix production, I assume there's no bluray release.
But well!
From a first look, I don't love the graphic novel's artstyle, I prefer the look of the movie trailer, but it's fine, and I'm looking forward to see if it's as good as people say!

Nimona is by Nate Stevenson (you might know him from She-Ra and the Princesses of Power).
It's about a knight-in-training, and a spunky shapeshifter, it's probably a bit autobiographical, and it's *very* queer.
Nominated for best animated feature at the upcoming Oscar awards, and windowed for free.

Alexandre Vigneault, de La Presse, a sorti un dossier de qualité sur les enjeux #2STNBNCG.
Ça fait pas mal suite à la #MarcheTrans de #Mtl du 5 août dernier.
À part quelques petits détails assez insignifiants à mon avis, c'est excellent. Vigneault ne s'est pas arrêté là, il a aussi encensé le film d'animation #Nimona, qui traite assez clairement des enjeux des personnes #NonBinaires.
Je me pose donc la question: est-ce que je rêve? Ou est-ce que sous le couvert de la «neutralité journalistique», le journal va publier une dizaines d'articles transphobes de #PDFQuébec pour qu'on retrouve une sorte «d'équilibre»?

I think this is another blorbo who is largely a blorbo because he's portrayed by one of my favorite actors: Riz Ahmed. He's radically different from his original web comic form. He's ambitious but also kind and unassuming, a person who ideally wants to protect the same system that supported him, until he sees its corruption. A person who becomes the villain in order to rescue his surrogate daughter.
