Camp Souveraineté, at km 134 on the Parent Road, is located on the unceded ancestral territory belonging to hereditary chiefs Robert Echaquan and Jean-Paul Echaquan. The site is a space for monitoring and protecting protected areas and for defending ancestral rights, which necessarily requires consultation with hereditary chiefs before any form of resource extraction.

In addition to maintaining continuous monitoring against illegal logging, the land defenders are building facilities to welcome Atikamekw people living in nearby towns who wish to reconnect with their roots.
Some have left their communities to work in municipalities and now have limited access to ancestral Nehirowisiw Aski knowledge.

This place of transmission is open to all who wish to reconnect with their language and identity.

Salut à toutes et tous ! Noise not borders est de retour pour commencer l'année avec une bonne dose de bruit et de solidarité. Nous voulons vous inviter au premier show bénéfique du festival qui mettra en scène 4 groupes amis qui nous régaleront de leurs mélodies sombres, parfois sales et rageuses, parfois politiquement intenses et dansantes.

En plus de ce cocktail de sons stridents, nous organiserons un tirage au sort solidaire avec de nombreux cadeaux au profit de Sheveck, qui est actuellement privé de sa liberté. Plus d'informations sur son cas et sur le tirage au sort seront bientôt disponibles.

On se voit le 7 février à la Casa del Popolo, ouverture des portes à 20h, début du concert à 21h.
