Thanks to a new upload by "lemonhead" and "Digitoxin", I could finally complete my personal floppy disk collection of the 1987 game "Larry Leisure Suit" for the IBM-PC, Version 1.0.
This game was copy protected, so it's always neat to have all kinds of disk image formats available. I just dumped and added my own TeleDisk image. It works!
If you're curious: Here's Digitoxin's collection of "Sierra On-Line" titles:

When it comes to my retro games collection, I am usually trying to find every variant and every available version of a game. Sometimes, this is pretty easy. For games like "Space Quest I - The Sarien Encounter", it is not.
I just added Version 2.2, Interpreter 2.426, 3.5" / 720K as a copy protected TeleDisk disk image. It works!

Creating TeleDisk images for a few more copy protected DOS games. Looks like there are some weird sector sizes! Let's hope they will work as intended.

If you like to play the original Lemmings for MS-DOS, here's a working disk image. Using the latest 86Box v4.2, the .TD0 image is 100% accepted as a protected key disk. Have fun!

Mmmh... I just spent the last two hours trying to convert a KryoFlux stream of the original "SpaceQuest I" into a disk image working within 86Box.
So far, it's still complaining. 😞

The good thing about 86Box is that has decent support for TeleDisk images, which means a lot of copy protected floppy disks just work without the need for cracks or anything.

As mentioned before, I've recently switched from PCem to 86Box for PC emulation. Sure, it does feel a bit more modern and versatile, but there's one specific feature I only found out about 30 minutes ago: 86Box can run copy-protected floppy disks directly from TeleDisk images! This might not work anywhere, but for some games, it is a game changer!
- Older, heavily copy-protected titles like Grand Prix Circuit from 1988 are now finally working within an emulator!
- Jurassic Park lets you finally install to Drive [C] without cracking the entire installer. It just works now!
- Somehow I can even use the Lemmings key disk and it works without any modification! This is awesome!
