As many have pointed out, the #TargetBoycott is not over. Target had not committed to end any anti-diversity, anti-equality, anti-inclusion practices. Notably, weeks ago during the #Minnesota #ICE occupation, after a US Citizen employee of theirs was racially profiles, assaulted, and kidnapped while working, they did nothing. They kept letting ICE stage and profile employees and customers in their parking lots.

Not going to post any crappy articles saying it's over because #Target found a Black pastor to meet with willing to call the boycott over. Because the (not) news is it's not over.

I agree that longer boycotts of specific companies, where you don't just "not buy" but move your purchasing power elsewhere, is more effective at producing measurable change. And I've found that once I've become used to the new shopping pattern, even if the boycott ends, I often don't go back. I think I've used Amazon once in the past year? #TargetBoycott

When #Target caves to these threats, then it says that the moment you threaten the employees of even a very large corporation, you get to control its policies. This is economic #terrorism, literally terrorism, creating fear among the workers and forcing the corporations to sell the things you want, not sell the things you don't.
