Rewatched TERRORIZERS (1986) dir. by the brilliant #EdwardYang. Recurring themes in his films are urban alienation, existential angst, change, loss and longing. His portrait was the last stencil I did before abandoning my cans of purple spray paint. I placed the stencil randomly, but perhaps appositely, under a sticker referring to the blurring of lines between fiction and reality—a major theme in TERRORIZERS.

My favourite #EdwardYang film is THAT DAY, ON THE BEACH (1983).
With dazzling cinematography by #ChristopherDoyle & mesmerising performances by #SylviaChang & #TerryHu.
Drawn to the familiar dilemma of Yang's protagonists who try "to determine whether it’s better to tentatively withdraw from society or to enjoy both the perils & the ecstasies of fully engaging with the world outside their front door." Slant Magazine
