theyre talking about "detail preserving clippers" on tiktok (credit to Tom Finster and Au5) which i guess is basically a clipper that folds back some high frequency content

i made something like that in #Bitwig and then also as a #SuperDirt module (for #TidalCycles). my implementation might be wrong. but anyway i got carried away and made this breakbeat

please try it out! it requires no changes to core SuperDirt, you can just run the code in livecoding-dsp.scd (after starting SuperDirt) and youre ready to play the #TidalCycles patterns in livecoding-dsp.tidal :)
