Spotted what I think are Black Stoneflies (Austroperla cyrene) at the Rob Roy Glacier Track, Wanaka, New Zealand on 1 Jan 2026. They were moving on some rocks near a stream. These stoneflies are poisonous as they contain hydrogen cyanide.
