I got an outline for the Villa grounds started; I wanted to be cheeky and build an underground base. Alas, I found a cave instead, which puts a damper on that plan. Looks like I will be building a proper house, I also plan on building a nice storehouse with a workshop for anything that isn't for Blacksmithing.

I did change my mind about building those things below in the plains. I made a spacious enough area to properly construct everything within the walls. The central point is where my crops will be growing. In the future, once I can create glass, I will convert the middle into a greenhouse for the aesthetic.

I might demolish the current ruins down below, because they are in the way; however, a small part of me would like to restore one or two of them. As they'd serve as a reminder of what was before the disaster.

I will take my time creating desire paths throughout the base to make it seem more lived in. Once more flax is harvested, I can begin making furniture for the spaces that would make sense for it to exist in. A better bed would be lovely as it would let my character sleep longer.

Vintage Story, I finally finished the misbegotten roof of this rude survival shelter. It looks intentionally like a poorly built shelter, capable of acting as a rude dwelling for protection against the elements and storing one's gear+larder.

I did finally soak, scrape, and put the leather through an initial weak tannin soak. It has about three days in that weak tannin soak before the strong tannin soak is required. I've explored the world some more to find that future base location. In addition, I discovered several handy resources...A big find was saltpeter, bauxite, quartz, and bismuth underneath that base location!

It's given me hope for this save, finding iron and tin is going to be rough, I'll be prospecting more in order to figure out the next location with even a small amount of it potentially there.

I do love how reactive the environment is in Vintage Story; strong wind in this game actually makes plants sway in the direction of where the wind is blowing. Torches react as well as you can see an ember trail often times! The developers know that the little details are just as important as major ones.

Hey Folks! I think this might be my last post talking bout my SSF Righteous Fire Chieftain in #PathOfExile because I finally got around to recording a gameplay video.

I think I might like this more than I liked juggernaut pre-nerf. Sure you give up some raw survival but with Lightning Coil I have been able to get most of the way there.

So last night I found a bit of time to start a new game called #Storyteller. And I've got to say, this thing absolutely rocks.

The core concept is this.....you place blocks into a storyboard to tell a story that fits the title of said story; it's a puzzle game.

It's full of charm and the animation is an absolute joy to behold. The only negative that I can find is that it ends too soon.

My slightly weird obsession with all things #FranklinsLostExpedition continues, this time with a videogame.

I'm playing a little thing called #ThePaleBeyond. It's 'loosely' based on #TheTerror which is itself a fictionalised story based on the tragic lost expedition.

So far and I'm really digging it. The game is heavy on the reading, and it looks like choices are going to play a massive part of what makes this game move.

Let's see if I can get these people home...
