Am DI, 24. Feb. um 21:00 Uhr ging eine ganz besondere Radio-Sendung on air! Fabi hat mich zu funkdefekt geladen und gemeinsam mit Mrs. Hornyphon (Abb.) haben wir über das Wesen des Radios fabuliert. Dazwischen gab es feinste Sound-Selektion des Karligraphen, hört Euch das an!

#NationalStorageAffiliates Trust (NSA), a major player in the #selfstorage industry, has partnered with #communitysolar developer #SolarLandscape to roll out 100 megawatts of #solar capacity across 8.5 million square feet of NSA’s rooftop space.
That’s enough #solarpanels to cover roughly 1,000 of NSA’s self-storage properties scattered across 42 states and Puerto Rico.

There is seldom a problem from whom someone cannot profit:
one aspect of the #housingcrisis has been people stuck in small(ish) flats (or houses) that they are unable to move from as their family grows...
#Selfstorage offers a relief (or release valve) for space constraints, and so it is perhaps unsurprising that this year the sector has passed the £1bn revenue mark for the first time.
This is partly due to rising prices of course, but nonetheless its another indicator of housing problems!

What #business both sums up the British people's #nostalgia for the past & is a perfect vehicle of #rentiercapitalism?
Almost all investment is in construction, then sit back & take the unit rents (with little need for refurbs), while people hang on to their past!
