Having a quick browse online I haven't worked out which retailers or brands are actually going on sale - only ecoflow seems to pop up.
I'm a little disappointed that the prices are so high, perhaps they'll settle down. My understanding that you are meant to only purchase a kit, I feel like I could construct a setup for individual parts fairly easily and for far less.For example:
Ecoflow 800W micro inverter £122 from Argos
2x Trina Vertex S+ 455W for £35.70 each (https://midsummerwholesale.co.uk/buy/damaged-panels/trina-black-white-455w-damaged)
Total £193Obviously excluded delivery, cables and mounting.
Anyway it's a positive step forward, l look forward to seeing the market open up.
Edit: turns out those panels aren't actually in stock but I think if you were able to wait you could grab a good deal.

Edit 3: as noted by @sheddi the ecoflow model didn't pass the tests so we will have to see whether there is some sort of update. Increasingly feels like it's going to be slow to get established as a concept

it looks like a whole lot of people in the Netherlands with GoodWe inverters suddenly find their panels barely giving any power, all at once across the country, seemingly caused by a firmware update, but it affects many firmwares.
kind of scary, because they basically also proved they can just turn off the solar power for a country for a specific inverter brand with this
