#RootsMagic 10.0.3 is now out, with a bug fix for the Relationship Chart report data loss issue, along with a couple of updates for #FamilySearch imports, and miscellaneous other fixes. RM users should update now.

#rootsmagic 10 users - temporarily hold off on creating Relationship Charts - there is an issue with limited data loss when doing so (namely data entered after you create a Relationship Chart). A fix is coming next Monday (Dec 9).

#GPT4 can create, read, and interpret #GEDCOM files with ease. I tested it with a simple #PROMPT ("Create a GEDCOM file for John Smith, born 1863, father unknown, mother was Riley Bower") and it generated a flawless GEDCOM file. To test, I imported it into #RootsMagic, with no issues. Plus, #ChatGPT crafted a family story from a 4-gen GEDCOM export. PROMPT: "Below is a GEDCOM file. Use the information in the file to write a biographical narrative #genealogy #geneadons #familyHistory #genealogyAI

I've been using the free version of #RootsMagic for ages. Today, I upgraded to the full, paid version of RM9 thanks to a discount promo during RootsTech. $20 is a great deal!

@sheribush @david @genealogy IMHO Family Historian has always been way ahead of Rootsmagic (7 or 8) and I have tried both. FH7 holds its data in Gedcom format too so your data is not locked away in some proprietary database. Product support from the manufacturers is excellent but the user group FHUG https://www.fhug.org.uk/ is a real bonus. #familyhistorian #rootsmagic #gedcom
