Today I based three #minis on washers with magnets and prepped two more.
Based: two undead wolves from #ReaperMiniatures #03736 Dread Wolves (2) multi-pack and a #zombie from #03471 Zombies (3) multi-pack.
Prepped: the other two #zombies from #03471.
I don't like #03471 Zombies (2) as much as two I painted in Feb. from #03601 Ronnie and Reggie, Zombies (2), but I want more metal zombies. I'd like a sizeable zombie horde.

Here she is in all her glory. She hasn't actually made it to a table yet though, because the group that was on-track to meet her fell apart over 2020.
She was just meant to show-up and demand they tell her which way Krampus went. She was hunting #Krampus and the party had seen him the previous session.

I took a few specific minis out of the pile of Bones 6 and gave my kid free reign to paint the rest. It gives her lots of options to practice on that don't require priming, and it's probably the only way the pile will be close to done in either of our lives 😆
However, I usually steer her away from the larger multi part models, just because assembly is a whole other ball of wax. But when she requests that we do one "together", that's an offer I can resist.
So today I've assembled and gap filled this Fungal guy (king? I forget).
I like #MetalMiniatures. It is difficult to find metal miniatures of all the creatures I would like to have for my #TTRPG campaign.
In this instance, I'd like to find a metal gug that is decent. #ReaperMiniatures has a metal gug, but it's silly and cartoonish. (It looks like vagina dentata with limbs.)
The #PathfinderRPG gug has great art and I'd love to find something along the lines of their artwork. I've found some resin versions, but metal is elusive.

This week I prepped three #ReaperMiniatures for my #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav session on 21 February.
I painted three zombies but one is a pirate #zombie with a sword (#14428). I painted him as a gray-skinned ash wight (variant cairn #wight). His sculpt resembles a skeleton with withered skin over his bones, dressed as a sailor. The others (#03601) look decrepit and wear rags.

I ordered more #Miniatures yesterday in spite of the fact that I really need a better way to transport more to my #Pathfinder sessions.
I got some zombies, some zombie wolves, a wraith with a scythe, giant rats, four humans (including Sir Forscale), a set of Halloween-themed familiars, a well-armored skeleton/death knight, a pennangalan, and a leucrotta ("badger wolf"). All are metal #ReaperMiniatures ordered from #Pippd on Ebay.
Operation: Unbent Spear. Or how to use a heating/cooling treatment to straighten out Reaper Bones plastic. Some progress is better than no progress.

I let my #cultist #miniatures (#ReaperMiniatures 03940) wait on my mantelpiece unfinished for months. (Along with a #skeleton mini, I'm not sure the brand, that is also in a cloak.)
I decided to paint on them again this week. I painted their skin a few days ago but it was too pink so today I corrected that. I've painted the metals, wood, and leathers now. I've put off the hardest part: I haven't painted their eyes yet.
More finished stuff that I never got around to posting! Goose woman!
I've been trying to do more minis to a satisfactory level instead of "absolute pinnacle of my ability every time", and it's a good thing!
Still wondering if the egg should be gold though.
A few years ago, I ordered MSP Oxide Red #09332 from an Ebay seller that I'd had good experience with before. I tried using it and it kept rubbing off the mini.
I ordered another bottle directly from Reaper. That bottle was fine.
I'm glad it was only a solo bottle; I had previously bought both 28-color Reaper MSP Pathfinder Colors sets from the same Ebay reseller and all 56 paints from those sets seem fine.
I bought some #cultist #miniatures (#ReaperMIniatures 03940) for my #Pathfinder1e game. They're three miniatures all wearing matching robes and carrying daggers. I might also paint a #skeleton mini in a matching robe.
What color should I paint their robes?
I'll probably use them as demon cultists of #Jezelda (female demon lord of werewolves) but they might worship other demons as the need for cultists arises.
