  2. #Transport for #London (TfL) responded to an Freedom of Information request made on 10 April 2025, which asked about the potential for adding #Railcard or Gold Card discounts to contactless cards for use on the #TfL network and for meeting notes from March 2020 onwards regarding discussions on National Railcards, Gold Cards, and contactless or Oyster payments. TfL confirmed they are collaborating with the Department for Transport and the Rail Delivery Group to enable Railcards to be linked with contactless cards in the future as part of a broader initiative to expand pay-as-you-go contactless services across the South East, though no specific delivery date has been set. Additionally, they stated that no meeting minutes or notes were available, as discussions on the matter had been verbal.

  3. There seems to be an #interrail sale on at most of the usual sites.

And here's my regular reminder that if you are in the UK and have a Disabled Person's Railcard then you can get an equivalent Interrail pass for your companion for free from the official UK seller. myinterrail.co.uk
Buy your own pass, then contact them by email for instructions. They are very helpful.
