The vendor for the new #swiss #polycom basestations (police radio) had an issue with their software not being able to work and adhere to an ITU-T standard operation mode and limitations for e.g. measurements to assure proper, vendor neutral, operations synchronizing ToD with PTP for τ(s). So they defined their own standard and now push something no router/hardware vendor in the known universe except them developes for. Thats one for the courts I bet.
