@jesterchen Ich mein, was ich gern baun würde wäre halt nen Dreirädriges [1V2H] #PLV in einer 1+0, 1+1 bzw. 1+2 Konfiguration [idealerweise Rekonfigurierbar durch Entfernen der Rückbank bzw. Rücksitz je nach Bedarf ] baun welches als #BodyOnFrame mit Hecktrieb + #Mittelmotor als "Plattform" flexibel skaliert werden kann...
Das würde Kosten sparen und erlauben von 6km/h @ 50cm³ / 4 kW aufwärts quasi denselben Aufgau zu nutzen...

#WhatsMissing are #smol and efficient cars.Nowadays we only see monstrosities in the form of #Crossover-#Enshitification and #SuperUselessVehicles built to skirt #EPA's #CAFE-Regulations.
I want some #PersonalLightVehicles on the roads for those that have no #PublicTransport as option.

@threetails there's a reason why I'd not even bother to build something that would be "legally classified as car" (as per EC Vehicle Class M1) because there is so much expensive bloat mandated per law that just makes it impossible to build a #car that could be sold with taxes and fees for <€10k.

@threetails personally, I'd rather want to build a more sleek and efficient car that takes design lessions from fighter jets and uses some cool non-distorting canopy instead of windows...
Admit it: People only buy cars because they need them as tools or because they like the one they chose...
Maybe do some fancy Methanol Fuelcell thingy and make it go swoosh!

EVs are less repair-friendly and #Tesla espechally goes full #Apple-style #AntiRepair.
What EVs do well is Torque: You get basically 100% the torque across the entire rpm range.
I do hope that instead of thicc #BEV|s we'll see smol and cute #PLV's that save on weight and rare metals and increase range with methanol fuelcells.

Tatsächlich würde ich soweit gehen und auf ein "speedy boi" Design gehen...
Da allerdings die wenigsten Leute eine Sitzhöhe niedriger als nen Lotus Elise akzeptieren würden, wären 20" Felgen + niedriger Schwerpunkt die Lösung...
Neigetechnik - und sei's auch nur passiv zentirfugierend wäre bei den Einsatzgeschwindigkeiten nicht wirklich relevant.
Ein "#PLV 5" wäre wie'n Ellenator auf 125cm³ bzw. 15kW [genessen am Rad] und 90km/h Vmax begrenzt...

@TheWarOnCars what we need is to either ditch the concept of a #car entirely in favour of a #PersonalLightVehicle (#PLV) or decentivize their ownership, production and purchase with taxes on excess size, width, lenght & dead-/net weight.
Kinda inverse of the japanese #KeiCar standard.

@FuckCarsReddit Personally, I think that the #Car as defined by #VehicleClasses as in the #EU [#M1] is unfixable and instead we need to get away from it's paradigm and move to something more efficient and less wasteful when it comes to space...
