Hear me out...A cross between Bad Santa and Home Alone featuring an aging, divorced, social media company owner vs some random carolers and a guy trying to shovel his snow. -
Okay, so everyone's writing an #introduction and I am very late to that party.
I write a lot of #speculativefiction featuring #lgbtqia characters, using the pen name C. M. Weller. There's five complete books in my #pitmad arsenal and getting them ready for publishers is my current struggle.
I am #nonbinay and use the #neopronouns ze/hir - just ask if you need hints and tips on those. If you really can't work with ze/hir, then singular 'they' is fine.
While you're waiting for news on my pitmad, I also do daily #flashfiction [you might have guessed] with some hefty #sjw themes.
When I'm not writing something, I enjoy #animation #dungeonsanddragons #sciencefiction #fantasyfiction and going on #wikiwalks via various documentaries.
I've only just started photographing our shy and retiring wildlife. You can see them on @critters -
All the scientists have flocked to Mastodon. Especially in #neuroscience, one of my favorite hashtags to follow.
Now the journalists are flocking to Mastodon.
And who remains on Twitter? Lots and lots of fiction writers, the people who tweet #writingcommunity #amwriting #pitmad #writing. Editorial agents, publishers, authors of fiction.
This says something.

I have finished my 1K summary in preparation for #pitmad yay!
Next I do the 500-word summary... then the assorted blurbs... and start all over again with the NEXT book.
I got five in total to prep. All while I still #amwriting an epic-size fantasy. And neglecting the trilogy I haven't finished yet.
Writer life. Such fun. -
@Liveotherwise That's great that you've gotten personalized feedback, but yeah, editors and agents can be a fickle bunch. Yesterday, I shared a kill letter post I received once for an anthology submission that had already been accepted. If you believe in your work, keep submitting. Also, keep a look out for the #pitmad and related hashtag posts. It was a great way to direct market your work on the bird site. I'm curious to see if it migrates here. #AmQuerying
