Päivän pelasti Clas Ohlson. Pashleyn mukana tullut tarakka on tähän asti ollu ehkä maailman hyödyttömin ja kauppakassit ym. on kuskattu tangossa tai toisessa kädessä: meno on siitä huteroitunu. Mut vot! Nyt on nippareilla loota kiinni tarakassa ja kyytiin mahtuu reppu ja kauppakassi!

Swapping the tyres on my #pashley roadster #bike for cream ones was straightforward. However, replacing the (practical but very bulky) fully enclosed chain case for a more stylish alternative required me to remove the bottom bracket. But the bracket was made out of plastic and installed so tightly that it rounded off the cups so I can't reuse it.

Still, it was seemingly the cheapest possible sealed bottom bracket available, so spending a bit on a nicer replacement isn't the end of the world.

The rebuild of the bike will have to wait until later in the week when the new bracket arrives.

On a whim I have ordered some new cream tyres and a slimmer chain guard for my #pashley roadster #bike.

It's the giant double top tube frame and while lovely, it's a bit hidden under all the practical bits. I'm not commuting on this bike anymore so I'm going to make it into something a bit more frivolous for pootling about in.

Might stick some nitto albatross bars on it and swap out the Brooks B33 saddle for a B67. Maybe some cork bar grips...
