Just finished a bunch of emails to customers, 6pm on a Saturday night, quotes ect, because it causes me anxiety when I used to do one email and send, then start the next and repeat, as there would be a large amount of people reply within minutes, so now I send them all out at 4.20 am or 4.20 pm ... The only comment I have had is at a 4.20 am sending time ... "You start early and go ahead"

It's these little things that keep me amused

I do see a dark side though.
A sort of “hold my Narcan” scenario. —Since I have this Narcan that will save my life (and hopefully a fully functional friend nearby), let me ingest, inject, snort, whatever my chosen opiate is at the moment, at a higher dose.

I really dislike being told I'm "overthinking" something when in fact I'm just "thinking" and the other person isn't.

What do you do at that point? If you try to explain that you're not "overthinking" your very explanation confirms their point in their eyes. Likewise if you carry on trying to support your original point.

I'm listening to #audioslave as I contemplate my #future. Yes, it's a thing I do sometimes because I'm an #analyzer and #overthinker. I miss Chris Cornel (the lead singer). He died in 2017 by #suicide. It makes me wonder what my mark on the world will be should I disappear tomorrow.

I know I'll live on through my #children, but I hope my #work continues to live on too. Maybe that's why I'm in Customer #Support. You'd be surprised how happy a #refund of $300 can make a person.

I'm an #overthinker and an #empath. One of the problems I have is that I bond with people too easily. I truly love the people who have crossed my path in life. It's hard when a friend is going through a hard time and I can't do anything to help them or make it easier. I'm sure people think it's weird, but it's who I am.

My brain just keeps trying to reconcile my experience as a bootstrapping founder of 2 businesses whose sole lever to operate is to provide enough user value to earn revenue

with observing the impact that VC and generational wealth have on who is able to procure funding and on what basis

and as a result, who feels entitled to what operating capital and returns, and on who possesses power, and on the impact some peoples’ unearned privilege has on the rest of us
