After doing a bunch of #gigwork #DoorDash and other odd jobs to pay for various/sundry requirements of TCC's nursing program, I had a bit of spare money left over for June. Closing June out by becoming a normal member of the Open Street Map Foundation for a year (and hopefully many more).

And struck that use of nem. con. (https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/nem-con) would help in #OSMF AGM. Just as in many similar meetings.

Especially helpful when the meeting is on-line and slightly asynchronous because of typing speeds.

Not had much time to follow the #OSMF board election, but have voted nonetheless.

Still disappointed that formal statements from the board are not obviously available (chair's report) or very skimpy (treasurer's report). I believe these should be available before nominations for board candidates close.

I'm also still missing an agenda item for OSMF members to vote thanks for all who volunteer for the board, working groups etc. It's a simple thing, but it's surprisingly heartening for all.

The Board of the OpenStreetMap Poland Association has unanimously decided to start the process of obtaining permission from the OpenStreetMap Foundation to organize State of the Map Europe next year.

Keep your fingers crossed! This edition will be really special, because in 2024 we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the project.
