Today I'm assembling components for earrings. This time I'm using pairs of very small lampwork beads I made at the torch, in colors that complement textured bits of scrap copper and bronze I've cut up for this purpose. I create and sell lots of lampwork glass bead earrings at street fairs and festivals, but very rarely online, as the cost and effort can't be justified for such inexpensive work. This 20 inch necklace is based on cooler colors. An experiment that I think was successful: Trying to mimic the appearance of an old mirror losing its silvered surface.
