So.... I'm trying out Hey.Café and a woman from Winnipeg posts a photo of her favourite bike. It's a vintage Dutch Bike. I say "if you're from Winnipeg and you're riding an #omafiets, you must know my friend Anders".

Why to roll the two tons if you can hop on two wheels for so many short urban journeys? 😁🤟🏻
(fun fact: majority of our trips are short, like, really short. 50% below 5km 😉)

Der Rahmen aus einem Stück mit dem Steuerrohr verpresst und eher verklebt, denn gelötet. Das Tretlager unter dem Rahmen befestigt. Dort ist die höchste Belastung beim Treten und man kann an diesem Modell bereits einen leichten Verfall feststellen. Nicht schön, wenn es während der Fahrt abbrechen sollte… -

I certainly love my #omafiets yet really really like this type of innovation and progress.

I love the #upright #bicycle experience (as someone with back problems and chronic pain, it's actually a necessity...) BUT I also have chronic #fatigue and it's a HEAVY #bike. I want to convert it to an #ebike if possible - any recommendations or places I should start looking? I'm in #Canada, so if it doesn't ship here, it's no good :(

I look kind of stressed here but I wasn’t 😂 Out for #IBikeBop last year in all my sparkly lighted goodness.
This is an Omafiets bike. BSP La Dolce Vita. A dream of a bike to cycle with extra space in the front for a child seat so people with short legs (like me) can still cycle comfortably.
