User Dumb or Dumb Installer?

Hi Folks,
I have been challenging the manual #ArchLinux Installation in these last few weeks, specifically with #Obarun and #ArtixLinux, and while I failed with Obarun I got a full installation with the latter. However I have to admit all the errors done with Obarun help to install Artix at first attempt.
However I have to admit that while a manual installation has its value there is something broken, for me, in the way Arch handles the installation of its components. https://social.isurf.ca/display/c443a55c-395f-3fe7-3342-c71413451212

Hab mich mal etwas mit andern #init Systemen beschäftigt. Ich setze unter Linux zumeist #OpenRC oder auch noch #SysV ein. #systemd versuche ich zu vermeiden.

Einige schwören auf #s6, welches in #Obarun eingesetzt wird. Aber irgendwie finde ich da keinen Einstieg. Klar, auf der Webseite sind alle Kommandos im Detail erklärt - aber mir fehlt da ein "HowTo" mit einfachen Beispielen.

@danyspin97 But also agreed on the to-each-their own point. I feel like I've moved *somewhat* far up the power/simplicity curve, but would still be interested in going further. Maybe #void, maybe #obarun, maybe even #gentoo if I'm feeling bold.

These developers have created something that works, is modular, simple and it's a perfectly crafted piece of software.

However this doesn't have a lot of support currently, there are only 2 distro which implements the s6 suite:

#obarun distro is an arch-based distro which uses this init and supervision suite.

There are also efforts to support this on #exherbo.
