    library.oapen.org/handle/20.50
The convenient myth of Wilhelm Reich is that he “lost his mind” in the early 1950s, if not before, and that the last seven years of his life and work — the orgone and radiation experiments, the cloudbuster, and flying saucer intrigues — present an embarrassment. Even the counterculture that

  28. This is really nice: I can finally share the news that the #OAPEN Library and #DOAB will be hosted by #CERN

  29. Re-classifying knowledge: moving from BIC to #Thema. At #OAPEN & #DOAB are moving from the #BIC #classification to the new Thema classification.

What does it mean for the OAPEN Library and DOAB? 1. Several data-related and technical changes must be made to our platforms. 2.Changing our data ingestion. 3. Converting of all the existing BIC classification codes to the new Thema classification codes.

  32. @fionabradley Thanks! I've been following #SCOSS from the beginning. Does it now recommend specific governance structures? I can't see any.

As I see it, the awardees are either university-owned (#arXiv #Redalyc #OpenCitations) or FLOSS projects with limited lock-in potential (#DOAJ #SHERPA #PKP #DSpace). #OAPEN and #DOAB are the exception, relatively new orgs under Belgian law.

The SCOSS method is interesting because money flows directly from universities to the targets.
