    Neuseeland gilt als weltweit erstes Land, das die Neuseeländische #Gebärdensprache ( #NZSL ) als offizielle Amtssprache neben Te Reo Māori und Englisch anerkannt hat (2006).

    #NZSL has also had quite a big increase:

    "New Zealand’s other official language, New Zealand sign language, had nearly 25,000 users. This is an increase of almost 1,700 users (1,692 people or 7.4 percent) since the 2018 Census."

    #NZSL ist keine schriftliche Sprache und dennoch fand sie Einzug als Amtssprache.

    Anders wurde in Deutschland geurteilt - Okt. 2022:

    Nach Ansicht des Wiss.Dienstes10 des Bundestags erfülle die Dt. Gebärdensprache -nicht- die Voraussetzung als Amtssprache, Begründung [Kurzform]: sie ist keine schriftliche Sprache.

    Es wird noch ein langer Weg, auf dem die Anerkennung auch in D durch kontinuierliche Bestrebung von Gehörlosenorganisationen, allen voran der Dt. Gehörlosenbund noch erfolgen wird.
