I've updated my #Novelember page with realistic and achievable targets. With illness this month taking energy and focus away, 50k was a dumb expectation to put on myself.
So, I've changed it to 25k words and/or 15 chapters.

I'm had some other writing plans for today... but I somehow found myself writing a 2318 word paraphrase on The Problem with Susan (the problem, not the story) into the WIP.
It may very well not survive into the final version, but it spins off in a weird way and contributes to world-building.

Because I'm a dirty cheater, I already started on the manuscript (so far, 39209 words). I made a little identity card for the #WIP. Going to be #SciFi, going to be a bit rough at places, but I think it's going to be a good read when it's done (and edited). Does it sound like something any of you would like to read when it's done? Keep around. I may post some snippets and updates if this crazy month allows me to.

It took a while, a bit longer than I thought (because it came out longer), but the first #draft of the #book I have been #writing for the last few months, THE PRINCESS WHO HITCHHIKED, is completed.
Now a break from it, maybe write something else, then editing, then #Novelmber to start the sequel: THE DISPOSABLE PRINCESS.

執筆当時はお題がそのままタイトル代わりだったため、今回の再録にあたって全てタイトルを付け直しています。お気に入りは「あのとき王子様が」「十一月の春の庭」「Hello, world and word.」かな…
「あのとき王子様が」は白雪姫の「Someday, my prince will come（いつか王子様が）」から。魔法の鏡のお話だしね。
Hello〜はプログラミング齧ったことある人ならお馴染みの「Hello, world!」が元ネタです。試しにDeepL翻訳に突っ込んでみたら良さげな雰囲気で嬉しかった。こんにちは、世界よ、そして言葉よ。

1000〜2000字の掌編が中心なので、ショートショートがお好きな方にお勧め:spaceblobchan: 投稿当時、一話ごとに雰囲気を変えるよう試みたので、アソートボックス的な楽しさもあると思います:)
