#Noctalgia, our neologism describing a sense of "sky grief" in reaction to #LightPollution, appears on a couple of "words of the year" lists, specifically in New Scientist (https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg26034692-200-science-and-technologys-newest-words-and-what-they-tell-us-about-2023/) and Grist (https://grist.org/words-of-the-year/grist-2023-words-year-language-global-boiling-aqi/).

A group of students recently proposed a project based on raising awareness of #LightPollution for the 2023 Congressional App Challenge (intended "to engage student creativity and encourage their participation in #STEM").
