I asked the Deepseek #LLM running on my MacBook Pro what it knew about me and it reported that I am "a British author and former military officer known for his work in the fields of military history, intelligence, and espionage fiction" who wrote two books: "The Protocol" and "Operation Orzaba".
Apart from being a (formerly) British author, the rest of this information is pure hallucination.
Don't rely on LLMs for factual information.

Labor has every incentive to keep prices stable, the capital wealthy however are way more able to deal with a small increase in the short term. And once this price-profit spiral gets running the capital wealthy are on the leading edge being paid more in absolute terms.
It's only when prices have gone up too much does labor have to demand a raise in wages, they have to, their people are hurting and starving. Which than adds to this economic death spiral.

having a currently vague idea that #inflation is and always has been driven by (near) #monopolies or capital incentives aligning to control the supply side in order to maintain an (collective) artificial scarcity allowing producers to all raise their prices together and increase their (real) profitability (and thus make their own stock more valuable) only to see any increase in profits to be eaten by inflation which can lead to a price-profit spiral.
