The stream is shady and much cooler than the garden. I find it quite peaceful … sigh … I wish for more peaceful spots with kindness around the world.
The water flow is slow right now and steady. The watershed upstream can store a great deal of rain and will release it with a measured grace.

He wrote in his #Journal:"I recognized the #YellowRoot, #MountainLaurel, #Hydrangea, & #Hemlock #Spruce...."
It was the first time Andre saw Yellow Root (Rhododendron minus), also called the #Piedmont #Rhododendron, which is native to #Tennessee, #NorthCarolina, South Carolina, #Georgia, & #Alabama.
