Mastodon app - thanks for the great app. 
When we share from online, and the app is in AccountB, can we tap the icon to switch to AccountA? Right from the share sheet thing instead of having to go open the app and change users/profiles/servers (Yaknow what I mean?). Thx

Installed and started using #IceCubeApp on ios. Liking it a lot. Remote Local Timeline is my favourite feature. Is it available only on this app or did I miss it in my previous ones?

I’ve been using the new @icecubesapp iOS and macOS app for a few days, and it’s the best app I’ve tried so far. It’s now my primary Mastodon client. There are still a few bugs, but it looks like the most feature complete 3rd party client. And it’s open-source.

I’ve been bouncing between it, #tootoise , and #mastoot and find myself using #tooot more.

@caragraph my Mastodon iOS app had my posts defaulting to Followers only. No setting for that in the preferences so perhaps it’s the default until it’s changed.

@tootleapp is not maintained which is a shame because I am curious where the dev would have taken it.

If not maintained, not safe…

I’ve had to disable filters because of how intrusive these placeholders were.
It seems I’m not the only one who has this frustration. There’s an issue on #GitHub for it. I’d recommend +1ing the issue to help boost visibility if you’re also finding this a problem.

Filtering out posts is great, but what’s the point in this? It takes up far too much space, and still disrupts the timeline.
It needs either removing completely, or improving the form factor.

I’m calling this thread here, look within for a quick snapshot view of the pros and cons of 17 different options for accessing #Mastodon on your #iPhone with #MastodoniOSApp. i am disabling push notifications for all but my faves, but will keep the ones that Work on my phone for a little while if people have questions! #B4X gets eliminated from my personal running because I cannot figure out how to add more accounts nor #AltText. It’s my least favorite aesthetically, but for a single account that doesn’t post images and doesn’t need alt text it might be fine? It’s definitely a #MastodoniOSApp that Works, so that’s great. I love seeing my tags bookmarked on the sidebar clearly. 23/n
