#Dionysos is a god of liberation and that includes #women. His most significant followers are women, the #maenads or "raving ones". They may have represented the dangers of #women left unchaperoned by male authority, suckling wild animals and tearing apart both humans and beasts. Dionysos is the Liberator and the women who follow him are free indeed.
