    Apple planuje zaktualizować całą linię Maców do procesorów serii M4 w ciągu najbliższych 12 miesięcy. W tym tekście zabrałem dla Was (ostatnie w tym roku) podsumowanie plotek na ich temat.

    MacBook Air M4

    • Premiera: styczeń–marzec 2025.
    • Brak zmian w designie, skupienie na układzie M4.
    • Podstawowy model: 16 GB RAM (zamiast 8 GB w poprzedniku).
    • Ulepszona kamera 12 MP z funkcją Centre Stage i Desk View. Widziałem ją w akcji i jeśli Air rzeczywiście takową otrzyma, to będzie to bardzo zauważalny upgrade.

    Mac Studio M4

    • Premiera: marzec–czerwiec 2025.
    • Układy: M4 Max lub M4 Ultra.
    • Thunderbolt 5 w standardzie.
    • Nie wiadomo ile maksymalnie pamięci RAM będzie w stanie przyjąć ten komputer w maksymalnej konfiguracji na pokład. Spodziewam się, że nie przekroczy to 192 GB przy modelu M4 Ultra.

    Mac Pro M4

    • Premiera: lato 2025.
    • Układ: M4 Ultra lub „Hidra” z 32 rdzeniami CPU i 80 rdzeniami GPU.
    • Maksymalna pamięć RAM: podobno 512 GB (zamiast 192 GB), na co ma pozwolić połączenie kilku układów Ultra.
    • Thunderbolt 5.

    Wydajność układów M4

    • Produkcja w technologii 3 nm, z ulepszeniami od TSMC.
    • 25% lepsza wydajność wielordzeniowa CPU w M4 Max względem M2 Ultra.
    • Grafika: M4 Pro i M4 Max są szybsze o 40% i 25% niż ich odpowiedniki w serii M3.

    Apple stawia na znaczne zwiększenie wydajności i efektywności energetycznej w nadchodzących modelach, przy zachowaniu innowacyjnych funkcji, takich jak ulepszony silnik Neural Engine.

    I almost certainly will jump to the #apple #m4max #macStudio. My guess is the #m4ultra will be too much extra $$. Sadly.

    It’s also possible there may be a higher spec version of the max in the studio, since it has so much more thermal headroom?

    Like, more graphics cores, or perhaps just clocked at a higher threshold for more performance?
