  1. Can you spot the keyboard? Oh that's right, its Bus 001 Device 027, the Microdia Vivitar Vivicam3350B from 20 years ago. I, too, often get old digital cameras and new mechanical keyboards mixed up.

  3. Does anyone also get that the bash command:

    sudo apt full-upgrade

    and (edit:)

    sudo apt upgrade

    on a causes the interface
as shown by the bash command :

    lsusb

to fail to detect any USB devices?

Edit: My workaround: plug in a and the devices in the hub are detected. Very odd indeed. The original OS was 64 bit lite.

  4. Sometimes I feel really #n00b ...
A couple of day ago the #touchpad on my #slimbook #kde edition stopped working. I restarted, looked at #dmesg, searched the device in #lsusb, but found no clue... I just used a #mouse waiting to have time for a deeper troubleshooting.
Today, I noticed the trackpad was working perfectly before login 🤔

...it was disabled in the settings 🤦

  9. Today I discovered a pretty cool utility for listing USB devices! 🔌

    🌸 **cyme**: A modern and cross-platform lsusb!

🔥 Displays manufacturer, serial number, speed, current information (mA) and more!

    🦀 Written in Rust!

  10. @RL_Dane @mjgardner @benjaminhollon Off the top of my head, the slowest are glxinfo, when you look at NYTProf speed graph, all of the features are topped by a subshell, with one exception, #/sys cpu speeds, those are subject to 10ms per core delay so the kernel can generate accurate realtime speeds. guys and me found that when doing CPU refactor. is quite slow, but inxi gets most usb data from /sys, uses lsusb only for device names, which come from huge usb lookup table.
