    #Judge Logan crossed a #Blackberry & the #Antwerp #Raspberry; the result was the #Loganberry.

    One newspaper in #SantaCruz wrote,
    "The #Vines or #Canes of the Loganberry trail or grow upon the ground more like the #Dewberry. They are exceedingly strong growers, each shoot or #Branch reaching a growth of eight to ten feet in one season without irrigation."

    The grower, Walter Knott, acquired the #Berry & named the plant in Rudy's honor. #Knott made an empire for himself with the proceeds - establishing Knott's Berry #Farm.
    Rudolph Boysen never earned a dime from the Boysenberry.
