I added a new subsection to the #imageregistration chapter, demonstrating how to manually align two 3D (or 2D) stacks using @haesleinhuepf’s grandiose #Napari Assistant 🤘

Which method works best for which #ImageRegistration problem? Here is a tutorial on two common methods, phase correlation and optical flow, for the registration of bio-images (#bioimage) using #Python:

I suspect it's highly subjective, but what's the best approach to show the registration of multiple images for a non-interactive media (eg. a slideshow or poster).
