  1. Arrrgh I spent a while this afternoon crafting a paragraph of a discussion/perspectives section in my thesis and then, at the end, went back to one of my results figures to link it to my observations. This made me discover a *fatal flaw* in my hypothesis, so I had to delete the whole paragraph.

I was lured down this rabbit hole by my #CellBiology kryptonite: a paper about phosphoinositide signalling at lysosomes featuring awesome CLEM imaging 🤦‍♀️ #PhDeath #thesiswriting #academicchatter

  2. Just a note of appreciation for this review of phosphoinositide signalling in membrane trafficking from Volker Haucke’s lab: nature.com/articles/s41580-022
It’s so comprehensive + the graphics are beautiful. I’ve regularly referred to it over the last couple of years to find the primary literature references I was after and every time I open the PDF I still go, ‘wow, that’s amazing!’ #CellBiology #membranetraffic #thesiswriting #PhDlife

  3. Schon interessant, wie unfassbar viele Anzeigen für #PaperMills und #EssaySpinning man bei #Instagram zu sehen bekommt, wenn man mal in der dortigen Suche den Namen einer beliebigen chinesischen Hochschule eingibt.

  4. Being on holidays and writing a PhD thesis can be combined, they said. While I do not unconditionally agree with that hypothesis, I must admit that choosing the right environment for this task makes it feel less of a burden. #PhDLife #ThesisWriting #FriuliVeneziaGiulia

  5. CW: Thesis writing with toddler

He find it too troublesome to form proper words and decided to bust random letters and numbers and look the length of paragraph he already made within a minute!

Probably should use this approach so my thesis is done more quickly.
