Edit: raised $50 so far. Please help us get that other $700 covered ASAP? If you can't cover it all, any part of it you can cover is less still to raise.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but if we can't raise Atha and Inara the $750 to cover immigration bureaucracy within the next week, a cascade of problems will unfold that jeopardizes the future of not only Atha and Inara, but also the entire project of the Vulpibus. Problems including a $500 fine imposed in court, points on the license, more expensive insurance, inability to get paid work in the USA and probably inability to leave the USA for any chosen reason too. Problems also potentially including deportation of Atha back to the UK.

USCIS made a mistake and they are leaving it to us to pick up the pieces, and fast.

We have a very urgent need to help Atha and @Kuniti_shino at @vulpinelabs make car loan and credit card payments that are well past due before the repo people catch up.

The car is needed for day to day runabout and safety. We need to find around $2000 to cover these needs ASAP for two beans who are stuck in cracks in the system and their health.

The #Vulpibus folks are now just past the halfway point of their journey, which is only possible thanks to your #fedihelp #mutualaid!

But to get all the way there #gtfomystate, hundreds of dollars are still needed for the cost of fuel and food in this capitalist nightmare, and a few hundred more for preventing their car from being towed away for non payment of loans and insurance.

Let's call the goal $1000 over this next few days. This will help with a couple of maintenance things too hopefully.
