@verge very sad to hear that. I loved #HaloTheSeries a lot.

I'm a diehard Halo fan. I used to travel with my Xbox to play 4-way multiplayer with coworkers.

But after S1, I was so aghast by how utterly awful '#HalotheSeries' was, I simply never bothered with S2.

I didn't think the showrunners deserved my attention after S1, no matter how much S2 improved. And I knew that stupid Kwan thread wasn't going away.

Good riddance.

With "Halo" coming to it's second season I decided to restart the game "Halo: Infinite". Last time I did so was on the XBox Series X and now with new hardware in my PC I wanted to see the differences. There is a major one: Halo keeps crashing at the same sequence on PC. I guess it's back to the XBox then. 🤣

Probably due to the Super Bowl ads for the new season of the Halo TV series, I have become nostalgic for and interested in Halo again. (I was in the MWNY audience as Jason Jones double-clicked the “Blam32” icon.) I started watching S1 of the TV series. It does not vibe with my fond memories, but it has led me to some cool reminiscing.

No additional spinoff revenue streams (anything #Zombie), or, as in #Halo, #ResidentEvil, #LastOfUs spin a show off a videogame.

I refuse to shill for the atrocity that is "Halo the Series" S2. Disconnected & boring, the writers - who had intentionally NEVER PLAYED THE VIDEO GAMES AT ALL - overtly gave fans the middle finger & said they'd do their own thing.

Result: It never feels like Halo even once.

Season 2 would need to the next 'Andor' for me to have any interest in it. And there's a special place in hell for showrunners Steven Kane & Kyle Killen.
