  1. I'm looking for a :linux: #Linux image viewer that maintains the zoom level and region while skipping through a glob of images with the arrow or PgUp/PgDown keys.

I have tried (on :nixos: #NixOS):

    #ristretto
    #gthumb
    #viewnior
    #geeqie
    #qview (broken)
🫤 #sxiv (works in slideshow mode, resest zoom when skipping manually 🙄)
    #gwenview (+changed settings&keybindings)
    #feh --keep-zoom-vp works

  6. @paco For image management maybe look at something like #darktable, #rawtherapee, or #digikam? Maybe even #krita?

#Apple #Preview is surprisingly powerful for what it is meant to be (operating system level file viewer). I don't know if any similar tools exist in #Linux that are 'os level' and have similar functionality.

    IIRC #Gwenview on #KDE and #Ristretto on #XFCE don't have this ability.

Would be pleased to find a light app like this as well!
