On Independence Day, we celebrate the freedom to choose. But God has given us an even greater freedom—the choice to seek Him and listen for His voice. God values freedom, too. He could have created us as robots, programmed to obey Him without question.Instead, He gave us something remarkable—free will. Every day, we have the freedom to choose whether we will follow Him, trust Him, obey Him...or ignore Him. reedom is a tremendous gift—but every freedom comes with a choice. Today, may we choose not only to celebrate the freedoms we've been given as a nation, but also to exercise the freedom God has given each of us to draw near, quiet our hearts, and listen for His voice. A shout out to all who did not have a "nice" mother.
We have survived without the idealized, fantasized images of what a mother is. We know things about human nature that don't fit neatly on a Hallmark card. 🙂
If we were lucky, we found other "mothers' aside from our biological mother -- people who were kind and helped us as we were growing up.
Truth:
• Not every woman should have kids.• Choosing not to have kids is a perfectly fine decision.

Thirty yrs ago, I would never have imagined that a US political party could win elections by campaigning to ban books.
The #GOP is strangling American freedom. In Republican-controlled states, #Women no longer have the #FreedomToChoose what happens to their bodies. #LGBTQ people are having their freedom to simply exist taken away. Now children are having their #FreedomToRead censored.
Yet Republican voters keep voting away Americans' freedoms. Do they think their freedom isn't at stake?

Misoprostol can be used alone for medication abortions, but the addition of #Mifepristone (approved by FDA 20+ yrs ago) is used to reduce the side effects (cramping, bleeding) of medication abortion.
The #GOP wants to outlaw Mifepistone and make medication abortion LESS SAFE and MORE PAINFUL for women.
There are NO medical reasons for a *judge* to revoke FDA approval of Mifepristone.
Just misogynistic ones.
