@macberg I noticed that thing... Not even from #childfree or #antinatalist point of view but simply looking for some logic and coherence in peoples' actions. Among people I know, better or worse, ones who have most children are the same who care least about world, environment, future of their children. I mean educated middle-class people, having comfortable lives and good jobs, who consciously chose how big families they want. They are biggest GenAI fans, fly few times a year for exotic holidays, buy excess of electronic, generating e-waste (and also general over-consumption). Just living at the moment, not thinking of costs. Very often they also hold bigoted views or general "bad things happen to OTHER people, not us". Some of them also tend to vote for politicians and parties promoting quick short-term gains and neglecting long-term planning.
If in some alternative reality I wanted kids, I would rather try to not destroy world in which they would have to live...

Why do you usually choose "families" in cases where it applies to "people"?

You "progressives" really need to be aware you have adopted and are perpetuating a fascist framing!

People deserve housing, healthcare, good wages and benefits, good social supports and schooling whether they have a healthy family or not. Whether they have kids or not. Whether they are employed or not.

How did I accomplish this? I trusted that engineers know a lot about their own aoftware, so I read the manual. I just read the manual. Why can an autist program a VCR? I read the manual. Why don't typies read manuals? "Can't trust 'em!"

[P] If one disagrees with a group that a typie identifies as? "Oh, you're just stupid." or "Oh, you have an agenda." because no typie instinct runs stronger than tribalism. All a typie is is a bee obsessing over nectar in their hive, and the nectar is dopamine. It's an evolved trait—dopanine is the goal, tribalism is an unsurpassed source of dopamine.
