Tried making #Flapjacks today. A very simple recipe of oats (285g), brown sugar (75g), butter (175g), and golden syrup (Just dumped a bunch in, didn't measure it!).
Melt down the sugar, butter, and syrup. Once melted, mix in the oats so they are nice and covered.
Scoop the mixture into an oven proof dish/tray. I used an oven safe silicon tray and yote the mixture into my airfryer at 160ºC/320ºF for about 15 minutes.
It all looked pretty good. But it did come out a little crumbly, sadly. Still, it's a perfectly snackable treat for myself. Maybe next time, I will play with the settings on the airfryer or spread out the mixture a little so it wasn't so thick.
