Each color dev kit can yield 12-16 rolls of film dev for me. I use Bellini’s kit (I try to use their chemicals for all non BW film!) and the results are great.
Here someone compares the time and cost for each color kit. Bellini is almost as expensive as Kodak’s (I don’t want to deal with replenishes so I don’t use Kodak’s, Bellini’s also comes in amounts that fit how I shoot color (12-16 rolls every 3 months).
I’ve got my workflow down and I really enjoy doing it at home.

It’s going to take a while to process all of these (I have color, black and white, slide film, AND motion picture film to process)… I have the chemicals for all of them, but will need to do some planning to get the most from the different chemicals. :/

The cliff path. This is on the north Cornish coast, north-eastern end of Bedruthan Steps. No-way would you get me on that path... but we saw someone down on that beach!

How I develop color film at home: Bellini C-41 chemicals, in a water bath, managed by a sous vide device
If I could start over I would just avoid buying stuff from Cinestill (including the device, and their C-41 chemicals). Just expensive for what it’s worth and also annoying company.
I only use Bellini chemicals where possible, they are my favorite maker.

I learned to develop film out of necessity.
Dev and scan for 7 rolls of film is US$150 where I live.
With my Bellini chemicals, and scanning setup at Photolaundry where I get a Fuji frontier scanner by the hour, it costs $4-5 per roll (excluding my time, but I actually do this to destress)
