So I am actually quite in favour of an #EUWallet. I will explain why.

Right now many companies have to identify people legally but have no way verify those clients in an efficient way. We are burning money on shitty KYC solutions with AI face scans enriching some data hungry providers to give "assurance" over the validity of a person with invasive live scan technology.

1. @BMDS Zur sogenannten digitalen Souveränität vertraue ich weder einer Zensus-Uschi noch der Bundesregierung. Weder bei der #EUWallet noch bei der #DeutschlandApp oder irgendwelchen weiteren #EU-Apps.

Gerade der Umgang der #Bundesregierung und der #Bundesländer mit #Palantir zeigt doch, wie verlogen diese Politik ist. Sie reden von #Datenschutz und Freiheit, während gleichzeitig IP-Datenspeicherung, #Überwachung und Kontrolle immer weiter ausgebaut werden.

I'm really disappointed in what we've seen from the Dutch EDI project - it started two months ago and they've not even shown a powerpoint or figma with mockups.

CoronaMelder and CoronaCheck - projects it was supposed to be learning from - both had working systems in github and open Figma's at that point.

It's going full force in the wrong direction IMHO!
