Today’s agreement limits reporting requirements to the minimum and gives companies time to implement the ESRS, and prepare for the sectoral European Sustainability Reporting Standards.

Transparent sustainability reporting and due diligence will certainly prove to be a competitive advantage for our businesses, but we must be careful not to put too much pressure on our companies. It’s important one can walk before they are asked to run.
