🤔 So, we have 720 members of the #EU Parliament: S&D (socialists) have a total of 136 from which 15 are Danish
On #EUCO (European Council = 27 Heads of State): 3 seats are (where?) S&D

Day 2 of the #EUCO has just started.
Today, we are discussing the EU’s next long-term budget. We need to make progress on a financial framework that matches our ambitions with the necessary resources.
The goal remains to reach an agreement by the end of this year to have the next #MFF up and running as of 1 January 2028.

Today’s #EUCO is about seizing Europe’s momentum.
On enlargement: Europe must show it is ready to reform. It is a win-win, but legitimate concerns must be addressed.
On competitiveness: Europe must unlock the full potential of its market, talent and capital by removing barriers.
On the EU budget: we must ensure we do not postpone the burden of today’s debt onto future generations.
