Time for some Eric's Trip to forget about my epic fail today. And it looks like the flat tire has another hole and the weather is abysmal and we have to fry for 4 kids because of a sleepover happening right now.
Not sure about the other guys but Julie Doiron made some beautiful music after Eric's Trip disbanded.

Dark Purple Marble vinylA great Canadian band from the #90s , and the country’s first band to sign to Sub Pop.
This is a more #psychedelic and rocking version of Eric’s Trip than previous efforts.
If you listen to “Sun Coming Up”, it sounds like a more mean and muscular Sebadoh.
They’re not a band I re-visit a lot, but when I do, I really enjoy it.
The Lou Barlow vibes are strong with Rick White. At least in this one, anyway.

So many great bands coming out of #Japan these days, and surprisingly you hear their songs being either the intro or outro for #anime There's something brilliant about that strategy.
I'm old so my musical tastes tend to go for the 90s alt-rock, grunge style. And I'm getting a lot of those feels from some of these bands and even though I can't understand 'em (lets face it, couldn't get a lot of the lyrics from the 90s til much later too:)) they still give me those "Goddam, thats a great sounding song!" feels.
This one, from #hitsujibungaku gives me heavy 90s band feels especially from around #Halifax #novascotia , thinking #Sloan #Plumtree (Scott Pilgrim), #Jale , #EricsTrip (Joel Plaskett)

#RickWhite of #EricsTrip, #Elevator, #ElevatorTrough, #ElevatorToHell who is now a recluse in #Canada, having been abandoned by #SupPop, occasionally releases new material on #bandcamp. I have everything(!) he has ever recorded. He just released a Golden Hits of the 60s record. It looks just like those collections from the 60s and 70s.
