Your call whether you think he's a fan of #RFKJR because he *likes* his particular brand of political inanity, or whether it's a roundabout effort to delegitimize Democrats by boosting a candidate who would give Trump some serious competition for "most unhinged President" if he somehow managed to win.

@birchtree Most generous take I can come up with: they're desperate for revenue and throwing everything at the wall to see what sticks. If there's too much backlash, they'll reverse course with the typical "we heard you and listened…" crap.
The underlying assumption seems to be that 'brands' (who often use the API via apps) will pay for access to an audience, and won't leave or have someone post manually. Don't think that's a safe assumption, but we'll see.

I told myself I'd never log into Twitter again… but I didn't say anything about not slamming the login form with a bad TOTP value a few dozen times when I hear they're basically DDOSing their own infrastructure, just for shits and giggles.

It’s pleasantly surprising how many have and are moving here. The #fediverse without software fed timeline makes so much sense. Being able to view/search across home timeline, local, or federated is more naturally social.
#ElonTwitter data certainly, AND likely targeted manipulation also, will be for sale.

Visits are decreasing as time passes. Less the once day now. I do like to check on thought leaders and journalists I don’t see on Mastodon yet. Often get sucked in by some cross posted retweet. I also think it’s important to monitor the massive gaslighting that is #ElonTwitter. I hope psycho-cyber warfare specialists are watching, documenting.

Seems pretty clear the new foundation of #elontwitter will some kind of mash-up of: extremist hate + delusional gaslighting + a home shopping network + gadget ads + infomercials + late night paid religious programming.
His “town square” vision? Maybe he sends way too much insomnia addled nights with the TV or while surfing clickbait websites?
