    In 2009, a young videographer named James O’Keefe took tens of thousands of dollars from Peter Thiel to run a “sting” on ACORN, an advocate group for low-income families. This created a completely false conspiracy theory around ACORN that effectively destroyed it. #PFT

    O’Keefe converted this “success” to Project Veritas, which does similar operations at scale. It’s run by Erik Prince. #EFP
